• Woman Suffrage in Great Britain
  Feb 1918

  Women over the age of 30 are finally allowed to vote.

• Queen Victoria dies
  1901

  Queen Victoria dies and the Victorian Age ends after 64 years .

• Secret Ballots in Great Britain
  1872

  Before the reform, people announced their vote aloud. In the Ballot Act, the government decided to remove intimidation by a new method known as secret ballots.
