Its not art, it shit.
Quite frankly, the whole ‘Modern Art’ thing is just getting boring. Admittedly these pieces are somewhat imaginative (just) and in some cases rather impressive, but when you actually think about it, it isn’t exactly art is it?
Although artists will say it is a ‘collection of emotions and beautiful contrasting colours’ or whatever, the truth is, it just isn’t.
Art is a business, and industry, yet for some reason we forget that. For example:
A salesman knocks on your door claiming he has the next best thing and wants an unreasonable amount of money for it, what do we do? We turn him away, some times without even listening what he has to say. However, now take Modern Art, you see it, the artist rambles on about things, but do we walk away? No. We buy it for a ridiculous price.
Artists are becoming door to door salesmen. It only is art when you can tell the difference.
