- The Burnt Beatty
Mar 1, 1953After burning his house, Beatty attempts to arrest Montag. Montag shoots his flamethrower at him and kills him. Later he realizes Beatty WANTED to die.

Feb 3, 1953After reading the poetry to the women, Montag goes back to the firehouse where they get a call. Montag goes with them, to find out it's his house he's burning.
- Reading Poetry
Feb 2, 1953Montag goes home, and reads poetry to Mildred and her friends. One of the women begin crying, and Montag burns the book.
- Meeting Faber Memory
Feb 1, 1953Montag remembers meeting Faber for the first time. He goes to his house, and they discuss the books. Faber gives him an ear bullet, and sends him on his way.
- Revealing the books to Mildred
Jan 7, 1953After Beatty leaves, Montag shows all the books he's hidden in their house over the years. Mildred freaks out, but Montag convinces her to calm down.
- Clarisse Dissapears
Jan 6, 1953Two weeks pass. Two weeks of Guy and Clarisse walking and talking. Two weeks of Clarisse opening his eyes. And then she dissapears.
- The Fire, The Books, The Woman.
Jan 5, 1953Another call finally arrives. An old, three-story house.

Upon arriving they find an old woman, who refuses to leave. The firemen pour kerosene on the books, still trying to get her to leave. As they are about to light the kerosene, the woman drops a single lit match onto the wet trail. She, and the books, go up in flame.
- The Mechanical Hound
Jan 4, 1953Guy is at work, waiting for a call when he decides to go see the mechanical hound- a popular enterainment among the firemen. He reaches to pet it and it growls at him, chasing him until he climbs us the firepole away from it.
- The Overdose
Jan 3, 1953Finishing his talk with Clarisse, Guy walks to his house to find his wife lying unresponsive on her bed. Further investigation shows she has overdosed. He immedeatly calls the "doctors" who bring a machine to clean the drugs from Mildred's body.
- The Meeting
Jan 2, 1953Guy is turning the corner coming home from work, and sees a girl. Walking up to her, they begin talking and he finds she is Clarisse McClellan, his new neighbor.
- Introduction
Jan 1, 1953We meet our protagonist Guy Montag, a fireman who's job is very different from the job of a fireman today. Instead of putting out fires, these firemen burn books found in houses.
