George Washington led the continental army to overcome Great Britain in the revolutionary war. He was also the first president of the united states.
in 1798, the federalist-controlled congress passed four laws known together as the alien and sedition acts. Good to keep non american people out of the country/state.
farmers lashed out against the tax on whiskey. Protesters refused to pay the tax. They even tarred and feathered tax collectors.
was the country's first national bank. The bank played an important role in making the U.S. economy more stable.
it was a rebellion of the french people against their king in 1789. The french people overthrew their king and created a republican government.
was the first united states secretary of treasury.
