Question 1: Why was this game important to you? At the time it wasn't important to me since I was just a kid, but looking back on it it was important because it showed me that there is always going to be the social differences between people. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game taught me about favoritism and singling people out. In general you either picked the person you didn't like or the person you did like (friend, crush).
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? I would have to say this was important to me because it taught us kids that being a robber was a bad thing. You never wanted to be the one getting captured, you wanted to be the one chasing and capturing the others. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game taught me about strategy. In order to win you had to capture all the robbers or the robbers had to steal an item and get back to base. So there was a multitude of variables that could change the game, which made it more fun trying to think of ways to capture either the robbers or the item.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game is important to me because to me, it was sort of the changing moment in my life where I stopped looking at games as just something to do while I was bored. I started looking at them as something I wanted to play any time I had the chance and play all day if I could. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game taught me that there are different types of combat in roll playing games. This one for example showed me about turn based combat systems and the advantages as well as the disadvantages to them. This game also taught me to always go through things thoroughly in life and look in every nook and cranny for something you are looking for.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game was important to me because it was the first console game I had ever played. It was also the first game had I ever beat. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This is an exploration type of game. You go around collecting currency (apples) and completing the levels to be able to get to the last boss. This made it fun because you were always trying to get to the last boss to see how the game ended. This kept me playing because the more I played the closer I got.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This was important to me because it was the first PC game I had ever played and it was also very addicting at that. Basically all you did was play as a mouse and try to trap the cats without being trapped or killed in doing so. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game taught me about strategy and how to sometimes move blocks that were not even near the cats to end up being able to catch them.
