The North didn't like the South. It was like "I don't like no slavery" and the South were like "we like it and we are gonna fight 4 it".
Abraham started the Republican party to rival the Democrats. He disapproved of slavery. He was running for governor of Illinois, but lost. He was noticed though, and won presidency. He tried to save the states.
This was a case to the Supreme Court to handle because a slave was moved to illegal territory. He lost.

Thomas Jefferson was a Democratic- Republican. He was the first of that party. He was the Secretary of State for Washington. He was also a skilled architect. His goals were to reduce debt, reduce taxes, and base the economy on farming.
Before Eli Whitney invented Interchangeable Parts, most goods were made by blacksmiths by hand. Eli Whitney invented the common day production use of parts that could be fit to any object made for it. All objects were cheaper and more faster to manufacture.
John Adams was a Federalist, and the only to be president. He was vice president to President Washington. George Washington died in 1799 from a throat infection.
In this rebellion, Farmers from Pennsylvania and Kentucky refused to pay taxes on whisky. Whisky was created from grain crops and was very profitable to the farmers. President George Washington sent 15,000 troops to enforce the laws and to show how the government would not put up with rebellion.˜
George Washington was the first President in the United States under the Constitution. He was a general in the American Revolution. He helped win the war and was considered an American Hero. He selected Thomas Jefferson as his Secretary of State, Alexander Hamilton as the Secretary of the Treasury, and Henry Knox as his Secretary of War. He was apart of no political party and lived in Virginia.
