There's no rest for the weary treasure hunter, but that's how Indiana Jones likes it. Fresh from spying for the Allies in the thick of World War II Germany, the globe-trotting archaeologist doesn't need much persuading to join his cohort "Mac" McHale in searching for one of the most coveted of artifacts: the fabled black pearl known as the Heart of Darkness. But the partners in adventure are not alone on their foray into the mysterious jungles of Haiti. German and Japanese agents are in hot pursuit, determined to possess the ebony artifact -- and its secrets -- for their own sinister purposes. And shadowing them all is an infamous voodoo priest, with powers of both diabolical science and black magic at his command. On a treacherous odyssey across the Island of the Dead, where the legend of zombi looms large, spiders, snakes, and booby-traps will prove the least of Indy's challenges. And capturing the prize will be child's play compared with confronting an enemy unlike any other, whose numbers are legion and nearly impossible to kill -- because they're already dead...
Indy infiltrates the German occupied Italian monastary Monte Cassana, retrieves the treasure, and escapes back to the Allied lines.
In Chicago, you have to be prepared. For harbor rats and tough guys, killers and thugs. No wonder, then, that Indiana Jones finds himself wearing cement shoes, shortly after some scoundrel appeared. Not very promising situation, and because of professor Petryk, who just made a sensational discovery. Then there's the young Mormon, Zach, who wants to sell Indy an old clay disk belonging to the vanished culture of the Anasazi Indians. On the breakneck flight from gangsters and gorillas, Indy and his companions wind up in an ancient city and an adventure of unimaginable proportions. And Indiana slowly realizes the whole truth: that you can burn your fingers on a piece of clay.
Washington is a peaceful place. But that peace vanishes for good when Indiana Jones is approached by a certain Mr. Franklin and a certain Mr. Delano, who have a small favor to ask. It concerns an expedition to Easter Island, but Indy suspects from the outset that it will not be a simple research trip. Franklin and Delano are sly old dogs, and they smile too much. An American agent, on the tail of a German conspiracy in the South Pacific, has disappeared, and Indiana must find him. A true patriot, Indy has his own reasons to give the Nazis a little trouble. His search starts at Atoll-Pau-Pau, but the tropical getaway is deceptive—Polynesia is a flowering hell, and Indy's orders are a suicide mission.
Professor Korda, a friend and colleague of Indiana Jones, flies his plane straight into a hurricane over the Bolivian rain forests on his way to an expedition. Shortly before he is forced to land, he makes a sensational discovery: a huge valley which seems to be covered in pure gold! In order to solve the secret of this meteor crater, he needs the help of Indiana Jones! Indy quickly comes to the conclusion that Korda has encountered the incredible gold treasure of El Dorado. But on this gold lies a curse: anyone who comes into contact with it gets sick and in the end dies a painful death. But of course, this does not scare Indiana Jones...
