Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game taught me good problem solving. Having to run around and kill zombies with minimal ammo, while solving all sorts of puzzles. I have always been a big horror fan. Honestly this game freaked me out the first time i played it, so i loved it. I have been a resident evil fan ever since. There is nothing more fun to me than killing me some zombies. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game is a survival horror style game. It is fun because it isn't your average level by level game. There are several items that have to be found in order to solve puzzles that allow you to progress through the game. Not to mention the hoards of undead that you encounter on your journey.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game was a good form of anger management. For me, i had some anger problems growing up, and to be able to get on my Game Boy Color and knock a couple of opponents around really helped Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game is another great and renown fighter. It was conveniently portable and the game was in color as well. Its a fairly simple game with good action and combat. There are several fatality codes which one must memorize.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game taught me good sportsmanship. It was the first real shooter style game that I played. I always lost in the multiplayer setting. I was already a big bond fan, and this game almost put you in the movie. I thought that was fantastic. Goldeneye was game that got me into shooters to begin with. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game is a search and destroy mission style of game. There are many levels to run through, not to mention the multiplayer. There are several cheats that are available to unlock, rather then being able to just enter a code. This gives the player more to do than just beat the game.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game was a great fighter kind of game.I was a huge fan of the Ninja Turtles when I was a kid. Battletoads reminded me a lot of the TMNT, so naturally I had to have it. I was excited to try it since i was big into the aggressive games. Also it was two player, which is always awesome, although i don't think we ever made it past level 3. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game is a great fighter type of game that teaches patients. There are mutant toads, not unlike their turtle cousins, that run around and fight off the evil menace. There is humorous dialog, and extremely hard levels.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game taught me that nothing passed the time like loosing yourself in the TV, stomping on Koopas and kicking turtle shells. As a child, I was thrilled to be able to move a little man around and through the worlds. When I got bored of that, I moved to shooting ducks. Can't beat a two-in-one game. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game is a problem solving game that works with hand-eye coordination. The player has an allotted amount of time to complete each level. While fighting off Bowsers hoards, the player locates hidden lives and hidden areas with coins.
