4:41 p.m. - Iowa Department of Public Safety sends release about an arrest warrant charging Isaiah Sweet as an adult with two counts of first-degree murder.

West Delaware Community School District had restricted access to its building Monday in light of the double homicide.
At approximately 7:02 p.m. Isaiah Sweet is arrested in a wooded area in northeast Cedar Rapids.
10:30 p.m - 11:15 p.m. (approximately) - Multiple law enforcement agencies, including a plane, were looking for "someone who was possibly wanted" in the fields of northern Johnson County
At approximately 2 p.m. relatives discover the bodies of Richard and Janet Sweet as they arrive for a Mother’s Day gathering at the couple’s home at 109 Deann Drive, Manchester.
2:23 p.m. - Manchester Police Department respond to a 911 call from 109 Deann Drive. Upon arrival at the scene, officers find two deceased individuals in the residence.
10:27 p.m. – Iowa DPS/DCI release sent at this time notifies public that they are seeking Isaiah Sweet, 17, as a person of interest in the double homicide case
Around 3 p.m. – Homicide suspect’s vehicle located in Iowa City, but suspect not found
Isaiah allegedly met with a female on Sat., May 12, then came back Sunday, asking her for help in finding a place to stay. Police say he told her in person that he killed his grandparents, and told her not to be scared.
At 2:41 a.m. Isaiah Sweet is arrested in Iowa City when he tried to get into a Fast Break convenience store to use the bathroom and set off an alarm. He was charged with driving with a suspended license and released about 8 a.m. when an adult approved by his mother (in Pennsylvania) picked him up.
On Saturday evening, Isaiah allegedly called someone else and stated that he had killed his grandparents and was on the run.
On Saturday morning, Isaiah allegedly called the same woman who he called the night before and stated that he killed his grandparents.
A call from Janet Sweet's cellphone was made at approximately 6:24 p.m. and a neighbor saw Richard Sweet alive at his residence at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Isaiah allegedly tells woman in a phone conversation Friday evening that he drugged his grandparents, Richard and Janet Sweet, and that he thought they were dead because they had no pulse.

On Monday, May 14, 2012, Manchester Police Chief Bruce Trapp said police had responded to the Sweet home previously after receiving requests for assistance, but did not elaborate.
Isaiah is charged as a minor using tobacco, 2nd offense, in Linn County.
