Afi Aduamah Rwanda has no followers yet. Be the first one to follow.
In the simulation i lived to be 65 years of age.
Standard of living means the level of wealth comfort material goods and things that are available in a certain area. My standard of living in Rwanda is low because 1) i didnt have the vaccines i needed to be able to live without getting diseases. 2) my family didnt have a house we had to live on the streets 3) there were a lot of food famines in my lifetime. Colonization influenced the standard of living in my country in the following two ways, some people didnt like the idea of the colonization so they left and havent come back so the population was impacted and some people dont like what happened in rwanda so less things are available.
Literacy rate means the percentage of people with the ability to read and write. The literacy rate in Rwanda is 70.4. Something that illustrates this education level is that i skipped grades because i was so smart.
GDP means Gross Domestic Product. The per capita GDP in Rwanda is 465 dollars. As a job in Rwanda i am a musician. I am making $1,880 that is 272.195 dollars in the US. that is about 75 cents per day.
One difficulty I faced in my life was contracting small pox. small pox is disease that causes a rash on your skin This disease isn't very common anymore a detail to support this is that small pox was put an end to in 1979 and there was a vaccine made. This disease impacted my country because in history a lot of people died from this disease. Something my country could do to help prevent this disease would be to help the vaccine be available to everyone.
One difficulty i faced in my life was a food famine. A food famine is when there is a huge shortage of food. This happens alot in my Rwanda and i know that because there were many food famines in my life. This disaster impacted Rwanda because there wasnt enough food for everyone so a lot of people died. It will not be easy for my country to recover from this because once there isnt a lot of food its hard to make more.
My life expectancy in Rwanda is 50 years for men and 54 years for women. Compared to 78.4 years in the United States. One reason for this difference in my life expectancy is that the united states has more vaccines than Rwanda. Two details about my life in Rwanda are 1. My family and I had over 5 different types of dieseases. 2. I speak the language Kinyarwanda and my religion is Christianity.
since 1998 the democratic republic of the congo has killed over 4 million people with thousands of girls being kidnapped, raped, and tortured by soldiers. It was ended by people finding out what was going on and them taking action. The Europeans were not involved in this, only the democratic republic of the congo had part in it. This type of conflict is classified as: Corruption. This would result in a negative net migration because no one wants any of that stuff to happen to them so they wouldnt migrate there. There would be no positive net migration for this conflict.
The reasons Rwanda became independent from Germany are that Rwanda was split up into two different "states". Then later there was an election about what other people think about merging the two states together. Both Ruanda and Urundi did not like the idea of it, but the UN made a resolution that both the states of Rwanda and Burundi would become independent countries on July 1, 1962
Before Europeans, Rwanda was ruled by the Tutsi'. The Germans were interested in the area of Rwanda because there were good natural resources there like Gold tin and coffee.
