In 1981 Henry Hays murdered Donald, a young 19 year old black man, after he abducted him. Donald was brutaly beaten and cut. Police found donalds body strung up in a tree. For this murder Henry was convicted and sentinced to death. He was later executed in 1997. THe family of Donald was granted with seven million dollars for the death of Donald. This verdict amount led the klan to almost being bankrupt.
Five radicles were killed when gunfire started at an anti- Ku Klux Klan demonstration in Greensboro N.C. That day was named the Greensboro Massacre when five marchers were shot to death in broad daylight and eight were wounded.
Charles Moore and Henry Dee were beaten and killed by members of the KKK in the year of 1964. Their mutilated bodies were later found in the Mississippi River. No one was arrested for the murder of these two 19 year old boys until 2007 when James Ford Seale was arrested and charged with 2 counts of kidnapping at the age of 71.

During this time period the Ku Klux Klan went vertally out of sight. The members of the KKK dropped and many people began to forget about the Ku Klux Klan until the 1920's when the Ku Klux Klan came alive again.
Once the enforcement law came into the Ku Klux Klan's lives many were dealing with many Federal officers in the court of law. Alot of memebers in the Ku klux Klan were begining to end up in jail becasue of this anti terrorist law the United States passed in 1870.
The US Congress Passed The enforcement law act that imposed heavy penaltize on terrorist groups. This act resulted in federal prosecution of klan members.
