Question 1: What were the details of the event? New U.S. research suggest repeated viewing of violent scenes in films, television or video games may blunt response to aggression in teenage boys.
Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? This causes the industry to be more sensitive towards educating consumers about game ratings.

Question 1: What were the details of the event? Remember those 5000 people Blizzard busted for cheating in Starcraft II? Well the developer is going after those responsible with a vengeance, taking three men to court for creating the hacks those users employed.
Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? This is a good turn point for developers because we should not allow consumers to create hack for games or consoles and making a profit out of a another persons hard work.

Question 1: What were the details of the event? The Dallas Morning News reports that the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decided that a software publisher can stop buyers from reselling software to others.
Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? This may cause consumers to lose interest on purchasing games if they have to be new, leading them to pirating the games or renting them, hindering the industries sales income.

Question 1: What were the details of the event? In late 2006/early 2007, then-Xbox boss Peter Moore wanted a "Wii Killer" to be the centrepiece of Microsoft's next E3 press conference. So he had two teams compete to try and make him one.
Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? This may be an advancement for the industry because its moving towards a more interactive future of gaming and reeling in more casual gamers. It can also allow consumers with arthritis who can't normally hold a controller to interact and play with their games.

Question 1: What were the details of the event? Consoles, while widely sold, are illegal. This means that gamers do not have official support. The government continues to crackdown on online games.

Question 1: What were the details of the event? The Supreme Court is getting set to revisit a proposed California law restricting the sale of violent video games to minors, a process that sees a major milestone today as the state submits its written argument in favor of the measure.
Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry?This could strain relationships with major retailers. It could also establish state level bureaucracies that define what’s marketable in 50 different jurisdictions across the U.S.
