• Deadline for Expansion work
  2011

  Expansion work being carried out by CCCL was to finish by 2011, but the work is far from over and deadline may not be met.

• Expansion of Airport starts
  2008

  To augment the existing facilities exapnsion of the Chennai Airport is taken up by Airport Authority of India. AAI awards a Rs. 12,000 crore contract to Chennai based Consolidated Construction Consortium Limited for expansion.

• International departure terminal commissioned
  2003

  A new International departure terminal commissioned to the existing structure.
