Women started to join the Civil War. They helped the wounded and made ammunition. they also collected the food, clothing and medicine to give to the troops. Some of the Women were spies as well
Dred Scott was a free man in his early years, later in his life he had moved and they wanted to take him as a slave, but he had said he once was a free man so he should still be a free man. The dicision went to court and they ruled in his favor
Kansas and Nebraska both seemed likely that they would become a free state because they both lay above the latitude lines of missouri. Kansas would settle as a free state
The Compromise was made, it contained five seperate bills all made in August and September, they all contained the five main points of Henry Clay's original plan
