While many can argue that it is not a re-release of the Wii Motion Plus. It actually is. It is a Wii Remote with a Wii Motion Plus built into it so that the Motion Plus will not get damaged and does not have to be removed.
The Kinect is Microsofts attempt to compete with the Playstation Move and the Wii Remote Plus. It may be supported with Windows computer with the launch of Windows 8 like the Playstation Move. Kinect uses no controller but is highly sensitive and marks Xbox's change from hardcore gaming into more relaxed gaming. However, there are still many glitches in the system and it is highly fragile.
Update 3.50 for the Playstation 3 brings 3D technology to the Playstation the worlds first ever blu-ray 3D gaming system. However it recquires a 3D TV and 3D glasses and is available with the release of Playstation 3 Update 3.50.
Playstations Motion Controller that also comes with a navigation controller. It is a motion system that goes with hardcore gaming rather than wii's stress relief based gaming. It also features more exercise and whatever you do the character does and even has more exercise than the Kinect.
The Wii Motion Plus increased the stability of the staggering Wii Remote. It included more precise angling and allowed the Wii to do many things with motion controlling that it couldn't do before.
The Wii made by Nintendo was a new approach on video gaming. Instead of controllers, it featured a motion based technology which made the Wii highly succesful. It uses a motion sensor bar which tracks the Wiimotes sensors.
By far the most advanced gaming console in history of Gaming. The Playstation 3 when it came out featured graphics that were much better than the Xbox and motion controllers for car games that rivaled that of the Wii's car games. Through software updates it's online has been made better, it uses webcam as well and it's online is free!
MIcrosoft kicked off the seventh and current generation of video gaming by releasing the Xbox 360 which featured new control features, better online and much higer quality graphics from the previous generation of video gaming.
The Gamecube was a huge success for Nintendo and used mini optical disks. It would only play movies that used the mini optical disks. Therefore it could not play movies like the Playstation or Xbox and neither audio disks. But nevertheless it was one the most beloved systesm of all tim.
The Xbox is Microsofts first console system and featured the highest quality online system throught the funding of Microsoft and trhough Microsofts Computers. However it lost to Sony's Playstation 2.
The highest selling video game console of all time and the most succesful. Sony once again led the sixth generation of video game consoles. It was the third greatest video game console of all time and is still selling it's models having had Sony release the PS2 in Brazil in 2009.
This was Sega's last video game conosle before switching to video game publishing. It as the first video game of the fifth generation. It was discontinued early because the company was wanting to focus on software. It was the first console to feature online play and as of 2010, despite being discontinued it's online play continues.
Nintendo's most ever popular gaming console which had, like others dispalyed 3D graphics which ranked second amongs the many of it's generation.
Despite being the dominence in the previous generation, the Sega Satrun was too a giant leap in video gaming but was not as advanced as it's competitors and therefore was a failure.
The Playstation was the result of a partnership breakdown between Nintendo and Sony. It was the most succesful video game console of the generation it was in and featured the most highly advanced graphics seen so far in the video gaming history.
It had no headphone jack and a red power LED.
The Atari Jaguar was designed to surpass the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis but was a commercial failure and was Atari's last video game console as the failure abruptly prompted them to switch to video game publishing.
Despite being a complete technological advance in graphics, gameplay and game-modes the high pricing prevented Panasonic from getting any success.
Nintendo's most popular gaming console and the one that gained the most success out of every console except the Nintendo 64.
The NeoGeo was the console version of an arcade game and featured better sound than it's competitors but was very highly priced. So a lower priced version was created with a reduced price but less inclusions.
It has an 8-bit CPU and a dual 16-bit GPU and is capable of displaying 482 colours at once out of 512. However, it wasn't that much of a revelotion.
The main rivalry was with Sega and Nintendo's consoles which Sega dominently won. Despite the Ninento console having much more critical reaction. They both were giant leaps forward in video game history.
It had digital joysticks and almost fully backward compatible with the previous Atari. A giant leap from their previous console which required a patch to do this.
The second console made by Sega and the first one met with much success. It was a big improvement on video game consoles and featured advanced graphics and many other gameplay improvements,
The final console in the second generation of video games. It was also a cartridge based game console and Sega's first game console.
The first game of the third generation and Nintendo's second game console. It is also Nintendo's first extreme outbreak in the video game console.
Meant to compete with the Intellivision it ended up competed with the ColecoVision. It contained the beloved Pac-Man.
The ColecoVision was a great expansion to the original Coleco and offered arcade quality graphics.
Mattel's competitor to the new Magnavox and The Atari.
The second Magnavox Oddysey and the first in the second generations. A large improvement over the previous models.

The first Nintendo. Containing six variations of light tennis. It was Nintendo's firs release and was the release with so much success it would put them on the video game marketing map.

Well everybody wanted to join the fun. The Coleco Telestar came in right after the Magnavox 200 and was fun for everyone.
Also the same as the previous version with only one addition, a graphics update. Now in it's pong game instead of using vertical lines it uses simplified versions of humans. This was the las Magnavox released in 1976.
Magnavox released the first ever video game console called the Magnavox Oddysey. Though being very pixelated and black and white. It was a very big technological advance.
