Why was this game important to you? This was the Tekken game that would answer many of the questions that were left unanswered in the previous Tekken games. From a Design perspective, What made this game fun? This is a fighting type of game that has been going on for years. But the developers continue to make it fun and keep gamers interested because they add more and more new fighters. With adding more fighters you create more individual stories, that contribute to the story that has been going on throughout this franchise.
Why is this game important to you? Tekken Tag Tournament was the first PS2 game I received along with my PS2 on the christmas of 2000 and thus began my journey into the world of serious video gaming. Before this I was only allowed to play on my older brother's PS1 and with his supervision. From a Design perspective, What made this game fun? This is a game that has also taught me you can change elements of a game, and it makes the player(s) feel as if they are playing an entirely fresh game. With Tekken Tag Tournament players were finally allowed to create tag teams.
Why was this game important to you? This was a continuation to the previous installment of Tekken, which meant that the storyline could progress from the last one. Which intrigued me more into what has going on with the story from this point. From a Design Perspective, What made this game fun? This game taught me that you could have many individual stories going on and still draw a connection from those different stories that doesn't confuse gamers and leave them wanting more.
Why is this game important to you? This was the first playstation game I ever played. From a Design Perspective, What made this game fun? This is a fighting type of game, which made this game worth while to play. You not only had a huge variety of fighters but each fighter has his or her own unique fighting style.
Why was this game important to you? First 3D fighting game I was introduced to by my older brother. Before this I was used to the 2D fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. From a Design Perspective, What made this game fun? This game taught me that you can have the same agenda of other games but you can increase the fun factor by changing one or more elements. And the change that Tekken accomplished was making a 3D fighting game, when most fighting games were still 2D.
