We wanted to create a company that creates partnerships with technical persons to create a company that produces new product, services or technologies. Founded on a principal of Entrepreneurial Rock'n Roll, the aim of Startmeup is to make entrepreneurship as fun and exciting as doing any other activity.

Friprint receives a cash injection from our new investors Comitel, with the new capital Friprint will hopefully be offering the new version to students at the Copenhagen Business School and to the Århus School of Business.
We find some new partners to help with our software and hardware needs. Netpartner for our software and Samsung for our hardware. With some more experience and a way better solution Friprint looks to be on it's way up!
Kasper & I get invited back to present at an actual 'Springboard' meeting held by Connect Denmark. At this presentation we go into greater detail about the concept, the business plan and sales strategy. The people present give a great response with one member opening the discussion round with 'this is the best concept I have ever seen at a springboard!' not a bad way to start!
Kasper and I were asked to give a presentation of Friprint to some AIESEC students. We were essentially the warm-up act to Marcus Orlovsky, a real entrepreneur and great speaker. It was great fun and our first real presentation of Friprint to a full room.

Kasper & I present at the Strategic Market Development course on Entrepreneurship. Our presentation is based on how innovation is incorporated into our concept and what elements of MIB we use in the development of Friprint.

After not being able to find a software solution that enables the printer to do what we want it to, we end the Friprint beta and work on a new solution.
Kasper & I go to Ålborg to present our concept at a Connect Denmark 'Pre-Springboard' event. The pre-springboard involves presenting your concept to a board of approx. ten professionals with different backgrounds and experience, for the purpose of giving feedback. We definitely got some great feedback and some welcomed criticisms on how to improve the concept.

After a little rough start getting all the software and hardware to work together we launch Friprint at the Copenhagen Business School. Much to our surprise and excitement students take to free printing like ducks to water, and we even got some companies to try it out (and pay).
Gus & Kasper both teach part time at Niels Brock Business College, to ensure that we have some sort of support for our entrepreneurial hobby.
After our designer chased after the money we decided to invest our full energy into our little Friprint concept

The designer whom with we had been working with for the past several months abandons ship and decides to grab-the-money and run. Good luck to you sir we say!
We registered Startmeup as a limited company with two new concepts in our sights. Cube It Simple and Friprint.

Kasper and I are asked to attend the MIB (Management of Innovation and Business Development) intro program at the beginning of the semester at the Copenhagen Business School. Here we give a little presentation of our ambitions, what we plan on doing with Startmeup and our first two concepts.
