• Writers Bloc and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
  1973 to 1974

  After their sucessful World Tour, they deveoped a period of Writers boc where they coudlnt think of any new material, so they decided to live in a supposed "haunted" house. The atmosphere helped them come up with Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, which recieved much critical aclaim

• Black Sabbath Vol 4.
  Sep 1972 to 1973

  They then released Black Sabbath Vol 4 in 1972, which thgen was followed by anothr world tour which ended in 1973

• Master of reality tour
  1972

  Black Sabbath did a world tour in 1972, following they took a break which was their first break in 3 years

• Paranoid
  Jun 1971

  Thanks to the sucess of their first album, in June 1971 they recorded and released thier second album "Paranoid"

• Name Change And Debut Album
  1970

  The band changed their name to Black Sabbath, and started writing more occult based song after seeing a movie and bill ward noting "it's stange that people pay so much money to see scary movies" LAter that year they released their first album "Black Sabbath"

• Fomation
  1968

  The band first formed under the name "The Polka Tulk Blues Band " in Aston, Birmingham
