Season 8 finale - Oliver tells Clark he must kill Davis, as Doomsday is a serious threat and must be stopped at all costs. However, Clark struggles with taking a human life, so the Green Arrow and his team decide to take matters into their own hands. Lois takes on Tess, but the fight takes a shocking turn. Meanwhile, Chloe takes matters into her own hands by using black kryptonite to seperate Davis and Doomsday but Davis' human side proves to be just as evil.
Davis Bloome was the Earth camouflage for the Kryptonian creature Doomsday, the result of a fusion of genetic material taken from the most violent Kryptonian life-forms with that of the renegade Kryptonians General Zod and Faora. He was sent to Earth as genetic matter attached to Kal-El's spaceship; his true monstrous form remained camouflaged, adapting to the world it was sent to until it was ready to destroy the civilization. As a human, Davis worked as a paramedic at Metropolis General Hospital. Tess Mercer is the CEO of LuthorCorp. While Lex Luthor was missing, Tess took control of his estate and ruled it aggressively. After she discovered that Lex was spying on her, she was filled with anger and agreed to merge LuthorCorp with Queen Industries. She later announced the creation of the Mercer Media Group. She featured in episode 8 only.
Season 8 Premiere - The Justice League, led by the Green Arrow, hits the Arctic in search of Clark, who disappeared after the Fortress collapsed. The team immediately has a confrontation with the new CEO of LuthorCorp, Tess Mercer. Meanwhile, Chloe is being held prisoner by a suspicious group who has discovered she has a new power, and Clark has been stripped of his powers by Jor-El.
Season 7 finale - Kara tells Lex he is destined to defeat the Traveler and offers to take him to the Fortress to learn how. Clark is stunned that Kara would go to Lex but it is revealed that Brainiac is impersonating Kara and she’s actually trapped in the Phantom Zone. Chloe is arrested by the Department of Domestic Security and Lana awakens from her comatose state. Meanwhile, in an epic turn of events, Clark and Lex face off in the Fortress and Lex learns Clark’s secret.
Clark meets his biological mother Lara. Clark is exposed blue kryptonite, which completely strips him of is powers, in the episode 'Blue.'
Season 7 premiere - Clark confronts Bizarro, the last wraith from the Phantom Zone. Their battle causes the dam to break, bringing Kara Kent out of suspended animation. Kara saves Lex, Chloe comes back to life after being pronounced dead, and Lana is alive, hiding in China.
Kara Kent is Clark Kent's Kryptonian cousin, the daughter of Zor-El and Jor-El's niece, and a member of the House of El. Chloe Sullivan created a false backstory for the authorities to cover Kara's sudden appearance in Smallville, explaining that she is Clark's cousin on his adoptive father's side, raised in Minnesota for the past 19 years until she was able to track down her one remaining blood relative. Kara became the target for the next scheme of Brainiac, who forced her to follow him, and they disappeared into space. Brainiac trapped her on Krypton in 1986 after traveling through time. Kara returned to Earth with Clark but shortly after, it was revealed to be Brainiac posing as her; in reality, Brainiac put Kara in the Phantom Zone. Chloe rescued both Clark and Kara from the Phantom Zone. Currently, Kara is searching for the lost city of Kandor in space.
Lana has no choice but to leave Lex, attempting to flee Smallville. Lex seeks the Wraith's DNA for his army. Lois pursues her investigation into Lex's project and is mortally-wounded. Chloe's meteor power manifests into empathetic healing tears. With Martian Season 6 finale - Manhunter and Lionel's help, Clark finds the last Zoner after Lex apprehends the Phantom first. Unable to control it, Clark confronts the Phantom and ultimately battles a bizarre copy of himself.

Martian Manhunter is the last surviving alien from the planet Mars who once acted as an Intergalactic Law Enforcer, trapping and imprisoning criminals from the 28 known galaxies. He currently goes under the persona John Jones as a homicide detective. His real Martian name is J'onn J'onzz. He fled his home planet after his civilization and family were destroyed and became a bounty hunter. He proceeded to work on numerous occasions with Jor-El until he died on his home planet Krypton. He promised to watch over his son Kal-El in order to make sure that he fulfilled his destiny; apparently, he has been watching Clark from a distance since Jonathan and Martha found him. *Season 6 - Static, Labyrinth, Phantom, Justice and Doom. *Season 7 - Bizarro, Cure
Oliver Jonas Queen is the billionaire CEO of Queen Industries, who also masquerades as a heroic archer known as Green Arrow. As Green Arrow, Oliver dresses in green and commands a variety of arrows and gadgets for many forms of defense. Oliver has a nearly-lifelong rivalry with Lex Luthor which began during their time together at boarding school. He also has a complicated past with Lex Luthor's protegé, Tess Mercer. He is also the founder of a team of pro-active heroes that has gathered many metahumans together to bring down Lex Luthor. He came in at the begginning of season 6, staying through to seasons 7 and 8.

Season 6 Premier - Clark must escape the Phantom Zone, a Kryptonian jail. Possessing Lex's body, Zod begins his plans to turn Earth into a Krypton-like planet using the alien ship's hard drive. After Lois and Martha's plane crashes near the Fortress of Solitude, Jor-El tells Martha how to kill Zod. Chloe reunites with an old flame, Jimmy Olsen.
Bizarro Clark or Bizarro was the last and possibly most dangerous Zoner released from the Phantom Zone in 2006. He was accidentally created in a laboratory on the planet Krypton, and was sent into the Phantom Zone by Jor-El and J'onn J'onzz, but he escaped in 2006 when Clark Kent opened a portal to Earth so he could escape from the Zone. Bizarro followed him through and spent the next several weeks seeking a host who could sustain him. He eventually confronted Clark and stole a piece of DNA from him, allowing him to create an imperfect clone of the Kryptonian which would act as a permanent host body for Bizarro to inhabit. He appeared in: # Season 6 - Bizarro appeared in his phantom form in Zod. He was seen possessing an old man in Quebec and a young boy in Phantom before making a copy of Clark's physical appearance. # Season 7 - Bizarro appeared in Bizarro, Gemini, and Persona
Since beginning a relationship with Chloe Sullivan, Jimmy had become friends with Clark Kent. He also found himself in the crosshairs of Lex Luthor and began a relationship with Clark's cousin, Kara Kent. However, when Kara lost her memory, Jimmy came to the conclusion that they might not have a connection after all. He then rekindled his relationship with Chloe. They were committed to making their relationship work, even as Jimmy continued to question whether Chloe would rather be with Clark. He was in season 6, 7 and 8.

Season 5 finale - When Clark refuses be the vessel to free General Zod, Brainiac unleashes a computer virus that throws the world's major cities in chaos. Jor-El and Lionel instruct Clark to defeat Zod's vessel, even if it means killing Lex. Clark, trying to avoid killing his former friend, tries to obliterate Fine. Instead, he opens the portal for Zod to inhabit Lex while simultaneously getting caught in the Phantom Zone.

Victor Stone is a teenager with endoskeletal cybernetic enhancements. He is part of Green Arrow's superhero team under the code name Cyborg. Victor is a former Metropolis High School star wide receiver. It was in that time when he met Clark Kent at Smallville while playing against him in their senior year. He was involved in a car accident that killed the rest of his family, but he was rebuilt by Dr. Alistair Kreig, who experimented on a group of test subjects for SynTechnics. Victor was the only test subject to survive the experiments, during which he was implanted with electrical and mechanical parts. General Zod was a Kryptonian warlord who thrived on power and conquest. He was partly responsible for the destruction of his home planet Krypton. Zod was stripped of his body, and is now a Phantom Zone wraith. Before his body was destroyed, he had facial hair and was noted for wearing black and other dark Kryptonian garments. In his youth, Zod did not have a facial hair and was young and athletic often doing press ups to increase his strength and muscle structure. Clark is exposed to silver kryptonite, which makes him have paranoid delusions about those around him in the episode 'Splinter.'
Arthur "AC" Curry is a mysterious metahuman swimmer that has a special connection with water and the life forms within it. He is a marine biology student at the University of Miami and an active member of Green Arrow's team of pro-active heroes. He appears in: * Season 5 - Aqua * Season 6 - Justice * Season 8 - Odyssey

The Disciples of Zod were two Kryptonians loyal to General Zod: Nam-Ek and Aethyr. They arrived on Earth in the Black Ship during the 2005 meteor shower, intent on finding Clark Kent and forcing him to free Zod from the Phantom Zone. They appear in: *Season 5 *Season 6
Season 5 premiere - Clark is transported to the North Pole after he unites the Stones of Power in the Kawatche Caves. The Disciples of Zod arrive in their Black Ship. Lois helps the Kents after their home is badly damaged by the second meteor shower.
The Brain InterActive Construct, or Brainiac, is a Kryptonian artificial intelligence designed and built by the scientist Dax-Ur and Jor-El to aid in the war against General Zod, but was corrupted by Zod and used to assist in the destruction of the planet Krypton. After escaping to Earth in the Black Ship, Brainiac assumed human form as Dr. Milton Fine, a professor at Central Kansas A&M before seeking revenge on Clark Kent after being restored because Clark destroyed him. In 2006, Brainiac unleashed a computer virus that infected every piece of technology on Earth, leading to Dark Thursday, and released Zod into Lex Luthor's body, but was destroyed by Clark using the Kryptonian dagger. Brainiac first appeared in Season 4 in Commencement, and remained till Season 8.
Season 4 Finale - A second meteor shower is headed for Smallville. Jor-El says that Clark must get all the Stones. Lana may be wanted for murder. Lois is leaving to find her sister in Europe.

At first, Bart was impulsive, irreverent, and unconcerned with laws or property. Whenever possible, Bart financed an extravagant lifestyle with stolen goods and credit cards as he hates to sleep outside. Jason Teague was a student at Central Kansas A&M, and the assistant football coach at Smallville High School. He was also Lana Lang's boyfriend during her senior year of high school. He was in season 4 and season 7.
Lois Lane is a fledgling journalist working for the Daily Planet and the bold, outspoken, older cousin of Chloe Sullivan. She has worked a variety of jobs over the years: campaign manager for Jonathan Kent when he ran for Kansas State Senator, chief of staff for Martha Kent when she took Jonathan's position in the State Senate, and reporter for the Metropolis Inquisitor. Lois was first mentioned by Chloe in the Season 3 episode Delete. In the episode, Chloe reveals that Lois is her cousin. Lois doesn't make an appearance until Season 4's Crusade. She then features in season 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Season 4 premier - As Kal-El, Clark returns to Smallville and embarks on Jor-El's crusade for the Stones of Power.
