A man was arrested after Rabina Bibi was stabbed to death in Coventry. Police were called to a house on Leicester Causeway, Foleshill, just after 8pm on Wednesday, September 3, after reports of a disturbance. It was the second time the police had been called to the address that night. A woman in her 20s was found with serious stab wounds. She died shortly after. Assar Joseph Mohammed Tomlinson was shot dead during a row outside the King of the Road pub, in Newtown, on December 23. The 33-year-old father of two had been injured in another shooting three months before. Two men, a 34-year-old from Birmingham and a Nottingham man of 49, were arrested on suspicion of his murder.
