It seems everyone these days is asking, does article marketing still work? I'd a client ask me that yesterday. And of course, I continue to say, yes, it really works, I still do it, I make as much per article when i used to. Sure, I do not write as many articles, although not because it doesn't work, but because now that I have a following I spend more time on paid traffic and nurturing my followers than I do writing the articles.
It's kind of like asking, does selling girl scout cookies door-to-door still work? Well, yes it does. Well how about we more and more people sell them door-to-door? Mainly because girls have figured out that if they sit before a supermarket they offer more cookies faster. And they are too lazy to visit door-to-door (maybe).
It is just like when a new guy starts a nearby painting company. He prints 10,000 flyers and takes his kid out and puts flyers on people's doors. He gets 100 jobs making $10,000 from those flyers. The flyers worked. So why doesn't he keep putting flyers out? Not because they do not work, but because he's so busy painting homes he does not have time to put flyers out. He'd rather re-invest $2,000 of the $10k that came in in the flyers, into mailers. Why not just hire some people to put out flyers? While he can mail more mailers for $2k than he can get kids to put out flyers. That's kind of like me. I have found that I can pay someone $500 and they send me 1000 visitors who become 300 subscribers and the whole transaction takes me A few minutes.
Now does which means that I will not make $500 off of This short article? Nope. This means that I do both, and due to the need for time, I simply don't write as many articles. So when I actually do write them, they're more geared towards a more mature audience, people like my clients who are going to read this article, not some web searcher.

So yes, article promotion works. And there is a time and spot for utilizing it. Look at Forbes. Will they do article promotion? Think about it. Spend some time on their site. Do they do article promotion? They have like more than a million articles on their site, I've they have hundreds of writers, is the fact that really any different from... article promotion. Now, will they make a profit from it? I sure hope so, where else could they be likely to discover the funds to pay for the writers?
There are lots of, a lot of companies available that are doing article promotion. You might not call it article marketing, but it's. Actually, each time you are writing an article and put it on your blog and refer to it as your blog post, you're article marketing. Each time someone writes something and puts it online for other people to read, he's doing article promotion. You will possibly not think of it as article promotion. But it is. Article marketing works.
Incidentally, do you want to understand how I actually result in the money from the articles I write? The thing is, the articles themselves don't earn money. The articles only create the traffic to my website. However the money doesn't happen until someone gets to my website.
Here's how it operates:
Someone reads my article
They like what I taught in the article and want to find out more
They're going to my website
They like what they see
They buy training
That like working out
They want more from me
They enroll in my coaching
Therefore the real money doesn't come from the articles, it comes from what I teach to begin. Just like when painter dude puts flyers out, the money doesn't come from the flyers. It comes when "lady by having an old house" calls painter dude and says "hey, come paint the house?"
What exactly do I teach that individuals pay me for?
I teach those who are selling products online how you can sell $1000 coaching packages to the product buyers. That's where the actual money is. Behind the curtain.
So if you're writing articles to earn money, however, you don't have a "behind the scenes" - this is exactly why article marketing isn't working for you.
