A pup was rescued after being out in sea for three weeks. The dog had a collar on but no address. A coast guard boat rescued the dog after the helicopter ran out of gas.
She already made a $1 million donation by auctioning herself off for someone to spend a day with her. She is also opening a limited time only fashion label L.A.M.B which will also be donated to Japan. Gwen is also selling her own wardrobe and donating it to Japan as well.
Experts say they found radiation in the USA rain water. While people worry about themselves getting radiation, they don't realize that the radiation could be in the tap water washing their dishes or even in the rain water kids love. Rain comes often when nearing April, the rainy month, which is not good. What happens when people walk in the rain? Will they get the radiation too.
The man was alive after being pulled out. He was trapped for 8 days after the earthqauke/ tsunami. He was in his 20's and unable to speak also due to shock. He was pulled from the second story of a house and had wrapped himself in a blanket. He was concious.
The man they found was pulled from his partially collapsed home. The media rushed to report this story. The man was unable to speak, due to shock. He was found a day after authorities said they had ended the rescue phase of the post-earthquake operation and would be concentrating on clearing rubble and restoring limited services.
A rescue was of a young women, her husband, and two children. They were trapped under wreckage in the flooding city.
Akiko Kosaka is a student from Japan who is attending the University of California. Her family lives in Japan and she was very worried about them. Then she heard from a friend about a youtube video that shows her oldest sister holding a sign that says "we are all ok" in Japanese. Akiko was so relieved to see that her family was the only ones standing in the rubble.
The police of Japan are checking people for radiation. If they have radiation then they treat them. When the people are better they let them go. The radiation is lurking through the air and may soon come into the air of the US. The radiator was still leaking after 6 days. What a shame.
After a third blast by the radiation plant, a warning went about. Those up to 30 km away have been told to stay indoors and shut their windows.
A devastating thing that happened... a giant tsunami hit Japan.
A 8.8 earthquake hit Japan on March 11th... Lots of destruction happening. Many other things happened to Japan in the same week like the tsunami.
A 4-month old baby girl was rescued by japanese soldiers and officers. She was found in the rubble caused by all the disasters. She was literally swept away from her parents arms by a tidal wave. Soldiers luckily reunited the baby with her overjoyed father. What a happy ending!
Another earthquake hit after the 8.8 one. Measured at 6.3, it hit off the coast of Honshu. Honshu is Japans main island. This isn't a good sign...
