Question 1: Why was this game important to you?
FFVII was the first game that I owned on the Playstation One. I did not know that this would be my favorite game of all time. FFVII is the game the pushed me over the edge to become a game designer.

This is a cinematic type of game. The story and was designed beautifully, and the graphics were a work of art. The gameplay was fun because it intertwined with the progress of the story.

Mario Kart 64 was the my first Nintendo 64 game. I remember playing it on Christmas day for hours with my brother and my cousins. I used to always beat them.
Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun?
This is a race to the death game. The intensity of every moment of every race was what made this game fun. Playing against the other players trying to get first place was invigorating.

Donkey Kong Country was jam-packed with new adventures, and it broadened my imagination. It was a different experience to control monkeys and go through a variety of levels full of hidden pathways.
Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun?
This is a I-got-your back and you-got-mines game. The levels were designed rigorously, and the player had to depend on the support of the other monkey. When one monkey was captured, the other monkey was there to save him and to keep the mission going.

This was the first game that I played on the SNES. It was on a Mario collection game that had all the previous Mario games. I played Mario 3 with my brother more than any of the other ones.

This game taught me that there is more than one way to reach your ultimate goal. It was fun to be able to choose which levels I wanted to play. Whether I skipped levels or I skipped entire worlds, the princess was going to be rescued.

TMNT was the first rpg game I played. This was the game that motivated me to keep playing my classic Nintendo game system throughout the years.

This is an enter-and exit, beat-em-up type of game. The design of the game allows countless hours of clobbering non-stop enemies despite the urgent mission of the story. The exploration aspect of the game made it fun because the player decided if he wanted to continue with the story or explore for a little bit.
