RCMP search a rural property southwest of Nojack, Alberta in connection with the seniors' disappearance. Investigators received a tip that led them to the property, but wouldn't reveal what exactly they have learned or what they hope to find.
Also today, special cash reward being offered by Crime Stoppers to solve the case was increased to reached $60,000.

RCMP officers reassure the public their search for Lyle and Marie McCann is not over.
Rumours that police have stopped searching for the McCanns are false, RCMP spokeswoman Doris Stapleton says.
“To be really clear, the forensic search of the arrest site and at the Nojack campground have been completed,” Ms. Stapleton said.

Hundreds of friends, family and strangers gathered at St. Albert Place on Saturday evening for a "vigil of hope" for Lyle and Marie McCann, the St. Albert seniors missing for three weeks.
Before the vigil, the couple's son Bret McCann spoke of refusing to let go of the hope that his parents would be found.

The second man arrested with Travis Vader -- the "person of interest" in the case of a missing Alberta couple -- is questioned and released without being charged, RCMP say.
The man, who has not been named, was arrested when RCMP converged on a home in MacKay, Alta.

A log house, four outbuildings, two tractors, a truck, and a pile of wood are set on fire on a property just north of Niton Junction, Alta., where Vader would later be arrested. The fires are suspicious, and the RCMP begins investigating whether they are related to the case of the McCanns.
The McCanns' family members set up a Facebook page begging for any information leading to their parents' safe return.
The McCanns do not arrive to meet their daughter in Abbotsford, B.C., and are reported missing.
The McCann’s motor home is found burning at a campground about 60 kilometres southwest of MacKay, Alta, where Travis Edward Vader graduated from high school and lived much of his adult life.
