Their attempts go awry and consequently Ed loses his left leg and Al loses his entire body. Unexpectedly, Roy Mustang appears. He tries to recruit them to become State Alchemists. Ed decides to go with it as itâs the only way to get access to Stateâs Library. After burning their childhood home, the boys leave Resembool. Well, it really got me back to those days!
