Tropical Storm Hanna came ashore in Brunswick County about 30 miles from my house. I had winds up to 48 mph.

Tropical Storm Cristobal formed off the coast of South Carolina. The Storm moved up the coast of North Carolina bring heavy rain and winds up to 21 mph. Rain total 5.59"

97 °F set a new record. The old record was 96 °F set in 1988.
