Question 1: What were the details of the event? The Pro Guitar controller actually teaches one to play guitar as they're playing a game.
Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? The importance of the event is to help remind people that games are educational as well. How would the event affect you as a Game Designer or Developer? If I can create a game that teaches someone a new craft and they go on to do big things with it, then I find myself a better person for sharing.

Question 1: What were the details of the event? Xbox Live Arcade is an add-on for the system's online community. Arcade allows users to play new indie games and/or old classic games.
Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? Xbox Live Arcade embraced their community and gave them more options to use at their will. How would the event affect you as a Game Designer or Developer? Xbox Live Arcade allow me to test out indie game ideas or possibly reprogram classic games to be played in the Arcade.

Question 1: What were the details of the event? Gunnar Optiks are glasses specially designed to decrease dryness and ware on the eyes.
Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? I believe that this event was a big step forward into creating more intense games. How would the event affect you as a Game Designer or Developer? The creation of Gunnar Optiks not only help me fight eye strain while I spend hours in front of the computer, but will also allow to create games that make you want to sit and stare at the games as you play them for hours on end.

Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? The release of the HDMI technology allows for games to utilize the visual and audio that gamers want to have while playing. How would the event affect you as a Game Designer or Developer? HDMI only allows me to enhance all of my creation to be viewed and heard at their fullest potential. I'd say that could be considered a very powerful tool when creating games.

Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? Motion Sensor controls showed a way of thinking out of the box. These controls are a new way of gaining a new crowd of gamers. How would the event affect you as a Game Designer or Developer? As a Game Designer, Motion Sensor controls have opened up new doorways in which to attract new consumers and enhance the way of gaming as a whole.

Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? The industry needed a new format to hold more content per disc because games were becoming more in-depth. How would the event affect you as a Game Designer or Developer? Simply, BLU Ray disc are more versatile which would allow me to create more complex games.

Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? MLG allows gamers to have a chance to achieve greatness where otherwise they may not have had one. How would the event affect you as a Game Designer or Developer? As a Game Designer I would want to create a game that is featured at the MLG events so that the game and the company grow bigger.

Question 1: What were the details of the event? Online Ranking systems gave that added boost for online gaming. Biggest reveal of online ranking system was in Halo 2 were hardcore gamers now had a sense of purpose to play and achieve.

Designing a ranking system for a game is key to ensure the continued replay value of your games. Everyone deep down wants to be the number one player.

Question 2: Why was the event important to the industry? The release of the Xbox was not the concern it was more about how Microsoft knew what hardcore gamers wanted. How would the event affect you as a Game Designer or Developer? Microsoft allows me as a Game Designer to create the games that I want to make because of their unique community.

How would the event affect you as a Game Designer or Developer? MMOs are the single biggest growing genre out-to-date and the possibilities and ideas for such games are endless.
