Description
This is about the Civil rights movement in the U.S.A.
All these events happened as the blacks human rights are being challenged. they were not allowed to do many things that the whites were able to do by law, things such as;
*A black was not allowed to sit on the bus before a white, they would be made to give up their seats if someone with white skin came aboard the bus and had no other seat.
*A black was restrained from kneeling at the alter of a church, they even kicked them out if they tried.
*A black could not sit at the local sit-in. They were able to be served food and drink, but were not allowed to sit on the chairs that were reserved for the whites.
*A black was not allowed to vote.
*A black was not allowed to go to a white mans school.
*A black boy/man was not allowed to look a white lady in the eye or even talk to her.
These are just a few of the things they were not allowed to do by law. And if they did, they would be severely punished, sometimes even killed!
