Q:
Why was this game important to you?
A:
It was just a really good game. It had been a long time since I got to play a game with this depth and play mechanics.
Q:
From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun?
A:
The game was huge. Easter eggs all over. A lot of power ups. Different weapons with different characteristics. Cool boss battles. Secondary weapon/item. Voice acting. Well done art.

Q:
Why was this game important to you?
A:
This game had me glued with its spectacular effects and intriguing storyline.
Q:
From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun?
A:
The use of cut-scenes to explain the story was like watching/playing through a movie. The use of high-res images as the landscapes/scenery created more detailed environments than anyone else was doing at the time.

Q:
Why was this game important to you?
A:
My friends and I played all the time in the multiplayer completion mode.
Q:
From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun?
A:
The multiplayer aspect was well done. There were a lot of maps, weapons, and modes of play. It was also cool that you could play as any of the characters from the game. The added benefit of the N64’s 4 controller setup made it more fun cause you could have team matches and bigger battles with your friends.

Q:
Why was this game important to you?
A:
This game had a really cool story and cast of characters. The special effects were well done. There was time travel. The combat system was well done, and included ways to “combo” with two or more characters.
Q:
From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun?
A:
They incorporated a different combat system from what I’d seen before. There was true area of effect damage. The combats took place in the same environment you walked around in, this was different from the “random encounters” that most games were doing at the time, or had done previously. The combination of the two major ideas set the stage for more strategic battles than the competition.

NES for Christmas!!!
Q:
Why was this game important to you?
A:
It was MY first system. All the other stuff I played was my fathers. Also I was old enough now to understand "how" to play a video game.
Q:
From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun?
A:
The simplicity of the design. All you did was jump into or onto things to make the game work. Also the "hidden" stuff was cool to find. Knowing that "secret" were built into the game made me try every possible thing to find more, maybe even something nobody else had found yet.
