Background:
Motion pictures are today's cinema, it is basically
A bunch of pictures (around 24) played in one second
To make it seem like a actual video
What problems did it solve:
The motion pictures was not really a problem solver
As much as it was an entertainer. The main purpose of the motion pictures is to entertain a group of people at once.
Connections:
The connection is between both the industrial revolution
And the scientific revolution.
It is connected to the industrial revolution because the
Factories had to produce cameras to shoot the film
And the scientific revolution because the cameras kept
Improving over time, to make better quality movies.
Synthesis:
This affects our world today because all around the globe
We have movies playing everyday, and they never cease to
Entertain us, Hollywood would spend billions of dollars, to
Make a single movie

Background:
Tuberculosis is a disease that attacks the lungs,
It is a fatal illness. It made people have serious
coughing fits, as a defense the lungs Produce
tubercles, which turn yellow and spongy due
to the disease, this disease will cause the
victim to spit them out
Problems:
This disease is a problem, because it is so easily spread,
Just by standing next to a person who has it will cause
It to be spread to you. Tuberculosis starts when people
Are poorly fed and nourished, that means spreading it
Will be a piece of cake.
Connections:
This is connected to both the industrial revolution and
Environmentalism
It is connected to the industrial revolution because factories would dump wastes into parts of the land, sea and rivers and this would cause the crops to be unhealthy
It is connected to environmentalism because, the wastes pollute the water that is drank by farm animals, the animals would then be made into food for people, and this is bad news because the animals were not nourished well before they were turned into someone's food therefore the food is not sanitary, and so the people are not being fed well.
Synthesis:
Farms, are now paying attention to what kind of water and food they feed the animals, also when they make food, they wash it completely and make sure that it is clean before it is consumed.

Background:
Invented by Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922),
a Scottish immigrant to America, the telephone
revolutionized communications throughout the
United States, Britain, and the world.
Benefits:
The telephone is a very important invention because it allows
People to communicate with ease, you don’t even need to be
Face to face to talk to a person, you could be in your homes, or
Better yet, you could be in different countries, and still be able
To communicate quickly and efficiently
Connections:
the telephone is connected to both the industrial
Revolution and the environment
It was connected to the industrial revolution because
The millions of phones being produced weren't made
By hand, they were made in factories
And it is connected to the environment because
The phone allowed people to interact with others
Around them with ease, it made communication easier
Because now, instead of having to talk face to face, you could talk
By sitting in your home, while person 2 is at his home.
Synthesis:
The inventions of the phone is one that affects our
World very much today, it is now portable, and every
Person in the world has a phone, and we use it every
Single day of our lives.

Background:
The microscope has been around 1000 AD, but has improved vastly since then. The microscope we know and use today was invented in the 18th century, Ernst Abbe was a scientist who made the microscope that allows us to view maximum resolution while looking under the lens.
How it solved problems:
The microscope was a very useful invention because it allows doctors and scientists study bacteria, this is good because it helps them create a medicine that can fight this bacteria, or it doesn't have to be for medicine, it just allows them to study very small objects
Connections:
The microscope is connected between both the scientific revolution and environmentalism
It is connected to the scientific revolution because that’s when all the latest models started to appear and also it allowed scientists to invent new medicines, or study diseases
It was related to the environment because when ever a new disease would appear, they would use the microscope to study the characteristics of the microbe, and find ways to kill it.
Synthesis:
our world is different today because of the microscope, because now we have cures for most of the diseases, and we are still developing our knowledge on bacteria.

Background :
Typhoid starts when water is dirty, it is a disease the spreads with contact from one person to another. It was feared as cholera because it has the same effect.
Problems:
typhoid is a disease that swells the intestines, and spreads very rapidly, this is because the water in the cities are not clean, so anyone who drinks from this unsanitary water will be infected by this illness, this is a problem because this disease is deadly, and spreads fast, therefore allowing it to kill many.
Connections :
Typhoid is connected to both the industrial revolution and environmentalism.
It is connected to the industrial revolution because all the factories were dumping their wastes into the water that people take from
It is connected to environmentalism because these factories are polluting the cities air, water, live stock and just basically making this disease spread more easily.
Synthesis:
Our world is different now because of this, because now, people are trying to find ways to make everything environment friendly, to prevent diseases like these to spread again.

Background
The typewriter was made by Christopher Latham Sholes and what it is basically is a machine that allows people to type anything they want down on a piece of paper and that would be able to spread news, works and anything written much quicker, it became the most significant everyday business tool.
How it solved problems/started problems:
The typewriter allowed people to share information much quicker. So instead of having to write the same paper around 100 times, you could type it once and print it 100 times, the typewriter started the standard "QWERTY" keyboard we use today, although it did cause problems, because it required electricity, paper and ink, and all those damage the environment.
Connection:
This is connected to both the scientific revolution and the environment
It is connected to the scientific revolution because it was invented at the time when people were beginning to be inspired by other inventions.
It was connected to the environment because in-order to produce materials for the typewriter, you needed to tear down trees for paper, this led to forests disappearing.
Synthesis:
The typewriter has benefited us today because, now it is known as the keyboard, the keyboard is what we use on our computers, which is what we use almost everyday of our life.

Background:
Air pollution has been around ever since factories, cars and all
Things that give of heat and gas.
Problems:
Air pollution has been causing problems for people, since the
beginning. It is responsible for the deaths of thousands of
People, it makes a city a bad place to live in because it covers
The sun with a thick layer of smog ( smoke and fog)
Connections:
This is connected to both the industrial revolution and environmentalism
It is connected to the industrial revolution because, all the green house gasses
And smoke that pollute the air were produced by factories.
It is connected to environmentalism because when these gasses are released,
They damage the ozone layer, and produce acid rain and other unhealthy natural
Disasters.
Synthesis:
Now, we try to make more environment friendly machines in order to prevent
Major amounts of pollution, we make electric powered vehicles, use different
Substances to power our factories

Background:
The steam engine helped make the lives of people easier, for example, instead of having a person do the work in a factory, he would be replaced by an efficient machine, or it just made transportation easier, one example of this is trains, all trains at the time used steam engines
Problems:
The steam engine was a major pollutant, it required huge amounts of charcoal, wood, iron, basically anything it can burn. It wasted a lot of heat and fuel
Connection:
The steam engine was connected to both the industrial and scientific revolution
It was connected to the industrial revolution because it helped replace people with efficient machines that did the job quickly
It was connected to the scientific revolution because other inventers were inspired to create newer models of the steam engine, ones that work better and are environment friendly
Synthesis:
Our world is different now because of the steam engine, because not only does it make life easier for transportation and work, it also helps us advance to the future even quicker
