Zahra Sudan has no followers yet. Be the first one to follow.
Sudan became independent in 1955 in hope to promote with Egypt, who had overruled them before they became independent. There is a lot of conflict with Sudan today still and many Sudanese people are voting to become independent.
Before Europeans, Sudan was colonized by Egypt in 2000 B.C. Egypt for its spices, metals, and control of the Nile.
One difficultty I faced in my life were floods and fires in my village. Floods occured because of so much rain. Floods and fires weren't too common unless there was a ton of rain or you werent too carefull. It impacted Sudan by damaging the villages and homes. It might be hard to recover from because of homes being damaged
In this simulation, I lived to be 45 years old, but technically I am still living.
My life expentancy in Sudan is 58.1 years compared to 78.4 in the U.S. Two details about my life are: My mother was named Zawadi, is and my father,Mawuko, but later my mom died of Malaria. The language I speak is Dinka and my religion that I am is animist.
One difficulty I faced in my life was contracting whooping cough and malaria. This disease is common in my country because it is widely spread which makes our life expectancy low. Something we could do to prevent these diseases is to to have a cleaner environment and get vaccines.
There has been a lot of conflict in Darfur, and hundreds/thousands of people are believed to have lost their lives. Human rights abuses have occurred, including killing, torture, rape, looting and destroying of property by all parties involved in the conflict, but the government of Sudan has backed up militia. Though direct government participation in human rights abuses in Darfur has sank, the militia is active and trying to help the problem as much as they can. Civilians are at risk because of rejectors of the matter fighting due to deep divisions among the rebel groups concerning the Darfur Peace Agreement. Europe leaders are toughing up and standing up to mass murder in Darfur and threatening the Sudan government to help out with the situation. This could result in negative net migration because people are dying and might be trying to move out of Darfur because of all the horrors.
GDP means total value of all final goods and services produced in a country in a year divided by the total population of the country. My GDP in Sudan is $55.93 Billion. As teaching resource aid I make 8.250 a year(just going whats off my sheet, i didnt write it down on accident).
Literacy Rate means the amount of people in a given area with the ability to read and write. The literacy rate in my country is 46.1 as a total. Something that happend in my ''Real Life'' that illustrates this education level is that I couldnt find jobs easily.
