John R. Silber (1926-2012), a former President of Boston University passed away today. Throughout his 25 year tenure, Silber reshaped the university with his controversial views and determination to realize his vision for what BU could become. He often spoke directly to The Daily Free Press about his thoughts, opinions and predictions. He will forever be remembered by the BU community.
