One person's DNA has been linked to seven homicide victims over a 21-year period, Milwaukee Police Chief Edward A. Flynn and Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm said Monday, May 18, 2009. The two announced a task force formed among the Milwaukee Police Department's Cold Case Squad, Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, FBI and the state Division of Criminal Investigation.
In the late 1990s, MPD submits DNA but there is no link. DNA testing has since improved; Task Force is created; Disbanded after leads exhausted over 10-year period.
