The United States used its massive, atomic weapon against Hiroshima, Japan.
For the 70,000 Americans, Iwo Jima was the step to the Japanese heartland and to the end of an awful war.
More than 5000 Ships and 13000 aircraft supported the D-Day invasion.
United States naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on the morning of December 7, 1941 (December 8 in Japan).
Stalingrad was Stalin's city. It had been named after him as a result of his defence of the city during the Russian Civil War.
After the attack the Nazis took over.
Their were so many lives lost and killed. And Hitler had a big part of it.
He wasn't elected he was Appointed, however there were many other factors that lead up to him being appointed. But he was appointed in January 1933
