Here is a timeline of my personal language learning and teaching experiences.

Beginning January 11th, I will be teaching two ESL adult classes 2x a week.
A part of my duties include tutoring hours when I am available and when IESL students sign up!
I begin my journey as an M.A. TESOL candidate at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. http://www.miis.edu/academics/programs/tesol
Worked in classrooms as a teacher’s assitant, helping children with their work and supervising their play time. In some contexts, I also taught very basic English.

I took 2 grammar/conversation Spanish classes and two literature Spanish classes. 4 quarters total. www.ucsd.edu
My junior year of high school I was the T.A. for Mr. Collins' AP Bio class that I took the year before.
My Junior and Senior year of high school I was a math tutor for high school students, my grade and younger.
I took Spanish as a freshman and sophomore in high school.
In 7th grade I took a trimester of French, German, and Spanish. In 8th grade I took a year of Spanish.
My grandmother and grandfather were my babysitters. They often spoke to me Spanish, but I was told I always replied in English. Same with my father and German.
