Joe was a very popular athlete in High School. Joe even got a record for a football pass in High School for Minnesota! He was labled Minnesota's baseball star of the year for Minnesota by Baseball America Magazine.
Joe's Favorite baseball team as a kid was the Twins, and his favorite player was number 34 Kirby Puckett. Joe spent most of his free time playing baseball, as well as some other sports.
As a child, Joe loved baseball. In fact, he loved baseball so much he was kicked off his local T-ball team because he was so good. He grew up in St. Paul, as where he was born, and was a big fan of the Twins.
