my traditional thanksgiving has no followers yet. Be the first one to follow.
The thanksgiving left overs ran out and so did my time at home. Unfortunately It was time for me to make that 1 hour and 27 minute ride home, thanksgiving break was over!
I bought my first car on Sunday, or rather my family collectively did. Its not that pretty, or new but its a lot better than the last one I had, considering I never had a car before. The car I got was a 99' Oldsmobile Cutles
I bought an Ed Hardy blow dryer because everyone is alway asking me if my flat irons are Ed Hardy. So now I can say "no, but my blow dryer is," just for kicks!
When you go shopping all the time there is really no need to go Black Friday shopping, so I stayed home and did homework which consisted reading Idoru and falling asleep, yet again.
I woke to my Grandmother rattling pots and Pans with the food we bought from Costco the previous day. I then proceeded to help her, or pretended to help her because I can't cook. After that I watched the parade with my father. When the parade was over I unintentionally resumed hibernating and and woke up four hours later in a daze not knowing that any time had elapsed.
When I woke up I Got dressed in my Holiday outfit I Brought from my dorm room. Then I went to go get my little cousin from his house. I stayed there for a little While talking to family about our dogs having puppies(ewww! it wasn't as cute a conversation as it sounds)! I was very hungry, and my hunger was heightened by my knowledge of the turkey my Father fried, the greens, sweet potato casserole, pound cake, rolls, a fruit basket, sweet potato pie, dressing, and macaroni and cheese my grandmother cooked. You know the usuals, a traditional spread, at least for us, the stars in a beautiful holiday play.
My Grandmother drove me to the ENT, because I have had a persistant little ear infection for a prolonged amount of time. She drove me because the only thing that scares her more than driving in an unfamiliar area; is someone else driving her. I used the GPS on my phone to Navigate there, but my grandmother kept getting off the freeway because she doesn't like to drive on the freeway at night so it took us about an hour longer to get home then it should have. Went to West Bloomfield to Visit Dr. Kin where he proscribed me Amoxicillin, yet again.
I made it home and began My hibernation!
I travelled home late monday night. my father and grandmother came to pick me up. They chastised me for bringing more clothes than I needed, and not being ready before they got there!
After having to make a few trips up the to the third floor of Butterfield Hall because I forgot things like my economics book, we finally began our trip home. My father drove us home in my grandmother's 2009 Dodge Charger. The trip was 87 miles to Detroit MI.
