Question 1: Why was this game important to you? I am pretty sure that this was my first game with 3D graphics and that was a huge deal at the time. Question 2: From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? This game simply teaches driving through racing other players in crazy courses.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game was important to me because I was older and had a better concept of what video games actually were. Question 2: From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? This title is trying to teach players exploration and gathering. You move through many different places and collect tons of bananas, which in the end, you are rewarded for.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game taught me to love fighting games as well two player games. Its non-stop beating the life out of people, but its even more fun with a friend. Question 2: From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? In Streets of Rage, you learn a few things. Teamwork because you can play with friends and team up one common enemy. Fighting, or self-defense because its a constant slugfest.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? Zombies Ate My Neighbor was important to me because it was one of the first games I really fell in love with. My siblings and i would play for hours on end. Question 2: From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? This game teaches survival because you have to survive and fight off zombies and various other monsters.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game was important to me because it was one of the first games I ever played. I played this with my older sister and brother when I was only three years old. I was barely even old enough to even comprehend what was going on. Question 2: From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? The skills that were to be learned from this game was simply hunting and shooting. Shooting was taught through the use of the light gun that was necessary for operation. Shooting the ducks is the main objective, but you could also practice in skeet shooting game. The word hunt is literally in the title. The object of the game is to hunt ducks that fly across the screen. This is how hunting is taught.
