Washington and his French allies go to Yorktown, Virginia where Lord Cornwalis was. French ships blocked the way out to sea. Cornwalis was surrounded and he surrendered. This was the last major battle of the Revolutionary War.
These two battles decided the fate of John Burgoyne's army. Burgoyne won the battle in September. But this was erased when he attacked the Patriots again. He was surrounded at Saratoga. He surrendered on Octobe 17, 1777.

The British soldiers search Concord. About 500 malitiamen were fighting with the british at the North Bridge. The British soldiers retreat back to Boston. The colonists win the battle
The British, led by Lieutenant Colonel Francis Smith marches into Lexington where they are challenged by 77 malitiamen led by Captain John Parker. There was a shot. Eight malitiamen die and the remaining flee.
