  Admitted students: Send final transcripts by July 1. Advising & orientation takes place for new freshmen throughout the summer.

• Deadline for accepting UW's offer
  May 1, 2011

  Deadline for accepting the UW's offer of admission, which requires payment of the $272 New Student Enrollment & Orientation Fee. Newly admitted students receive a Welcome packet, which explains step-by-step how to enroll.

• Admission decisions mailed
  Mar 15, 2011 to Mar 31, 2011

  An admission decision will be mailed to all freshman applicants between March 15 and 31, 2011.

• Deadline for FAFSA

• Submit FAFSA
  Feb 15, 2011

• Application deadline (NEW!)
  Dec 15, 2010

  Application deadline for freshmen. All materials to complete your application file must be submitted or postmarked by this date. * Have test scores sent directly from ACT or SAT well in advance! EXCEPTION: We accept Dec. scores if you name the UW as a recipient when you register for the test. In 2010: Dec. 4 SAT; Dec 11, ACT. * Class of 2012: Mark your calendar. We expect to move the deadline to December 1!

  Register in September or October for the next SAT Reasoning test or ACT with Writing. December is the last month you can take an admission test for the UW!
