Why was this game important to you? This game always helped me talk to girls when I was to shy. Yeah I know how whack but I was young and shy and it worked. The fact that it started conversations between women made it very important to me. From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? This game teaches you how to fold paper into interactive origami shapes that can produce a lot of fun. It also teaches us how to count even though it is a first grade level I still believe that it is a form of learning.
Why was this game important to you? This game is very important to me because my father bought it for me when I was living with my mother and he came to see me. Just that simple fact made me enjoy the game that much more. From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? This game teaches the player timing skills along with aiming. There is also the actual racing that you have to do which is practice for the player to get better handling of the vehicle in the game.
Why was this game important to you? I would play this game for hours on end trying to beat it. It has been so long since I have played it that I do not know if I did. However this game always touched my imaginative side by being able to transform. Some days I would get on and play just to watch the characters transform because it amused me so much. From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? This game teaches the player timing by having them time when you attack or when to block. It also shows you how to press certain buttons in a certain order to activate certain moves and specials that the characters can do.
Why was this game important to you? This video game was one of my favorite games back when I was younger. The reason being is the fact that you get to rap in this game and how is that not fun when it is in a game. When I was younger I would rap along with the game which made it all the more fun. From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? This game taught the players one simple thing. That would be memory, to play this game you listen to him rap and then watch the sequence of buttons shown on the screen and then repeat it when you are prompted. As the game goes on the buttons you have to remember get longer and harder.
Why was this game important to you? This board game is important to me because I would always have so much fun playing it with my friends, which is very fun for me. I also loved being able to build the game and watch it actually work like it should, this always brought me great enjoyment. From a Designer’s Perspective, what skills was the game trying to teach? And how did the game try to teach these skills? I believe that this board game taught the players a multiple amount of things. One of those being how they teach you to follow step by step instructions to setup up the game while you play. Another one would be teaching you how to react with your peers in a fun way.
