In 2005 president Bush gave Ali an ward. The award was the honor of freedom award.
Ali went to the summer olympics. He lit the torch. This showed his career.
Ali anounced that he had Parkensins. To the whole world.
Ali claimed to retire.at the age of 39. After he fought the heavy weight content.
Ali fought Leon. Ali lost to Leon and lost his second title loss. Then they fought again and Ali won his title back.
Ali fought Ken Norton in the boxing ring. Ali beat Ken Norton. He won with decicions because he fought Ken many times.
Ali fought Joe Frazier. Ali tried his best. Yet Joe Frazier still won the Thrilla in the Manilla.
Rumble in the jungle is the name of the George Forman fight. This fight was in Zaire. This fight was giving each fighter 5 million dollars. This was a huge fight. The were a lot of people in the stadiums. Ali was getting slower. His style no was caller rope-a-dope.
Ali tries to make a comeback. By fighting Joe Frazier. Sports reporters were calling this fight "the fight of the century". HTis was Ali's first professional loss.
The supreme court over turned Ali sentence. He had gotten his license back. Ali was now able to fight again.
Ali fought Joe and lost. They fought in madison square garden. This was Ali first professional fight that he lost.
This is when Ali fights Jerry Correy. This is Ali first fight out of exile. Ali lost against him.
Ali speaks at collages and schools all over about his boxing career. His lawyer goes to court and appeals because he found out that going to war is against his religion.
Ali was drafted in to the war. Ali refused to go into induction. He lost his right to fight and he also lost his title. He said it was against his reigion.
Clay changed his name to Muhammad Ali, because Cassius Clay was a slave name and he did not want a slave name. He also changes his religion to Muslim.
Sonny Liston Fought Clay. Clay beat Sonny in the fight. Then Clay won his championship title.
Clay fought Henry Cooper. It was Clays first fight over seas. He won against Henry.
Clay was put in the light heavy weight devision in the olympics. The olympics were in Rome. Clay won the 1960 summer olympics.
Clays bike was stolen. It was a shwinn type of bike. clay told a cop he wanted to "wup" who ever stole his bike. So the cop told him he better learn to fight.
Cassius, Sr.and Odessa Clay had a baby boy. they lived in Louisville Kentucky. Clay has a younger brother Rudy.
