It was 2 weeks ago, on a Sat we drove all the way from Rancho to SM for this yoga class. But I really liked it.
It was a Fund raiser function was hosted by Yogaglo and Yoga Gives Back. There were 6 instructors are offering 2 hours sequenced classes and accompanied by Dj Drez’s live music. It was really a facinating yoga experiences and we all really enjoyed it. There were refreshments and raffle draws after the class. I won the first prize of a asana art series drawing from Bryan Belleza

Betsy and I go to yogaglo every Friday during lunch hour. It’s a one hour vinyasa taught by Jo who I really like. It’s very modest but enough to make me sweat.

So Betsy found this beach yoga class in Santa Monica. It was a very interesting experience. Doing yoga on beach is more on sand and right next to the ocean. No matt but bath towl or wrap. It was nice of being outdoor in the nature and doing yoga poses even those poses are not deep or advanced at all.
Some hightlights:
- The Sun solute poses is facinating with the touching of sand during the whole flow.
- When you do a downward facing dog pose or just bend over handstand pose, you see ocean upside down. It’s very cool
- We saw dolphins!
- There was a really cute guy in the class.
- We ran into Seth after we sneaked out of the class..it was getting cold and too sticky and too much sand.
- We had dinner with Mike after yoga in La Grande

2008 has been an eventful year to say the least - it is difficult to sum up the thousands of stories in just a handful of photographs. That said, I will try to do what I've done with other photo narratives here, and tell a story of 2008 in photographs. It's not the story of 2008, it's certainly not all stories, but as a collection it does show a good portion of what life has been like over the past 12 months. This is a multi-entry story, 120 photographs over three days.
