Ludlow was a framer of a document called the fundamental Orders. The Fundamental Orders of Connecticut is the first written constitution for self-governing people. On June 4,1639 the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut is a short document, but contains some principles that were later applied in creating the United States government. Most of the colonies were actually collections of towns each of them established its own self- government.

The Declaration of Independence was drafted by Thomas Jeffersonbetween June 11 and June 28. The Mecklenberg Declaration of Independence is allgedy the first Declaration of Independence ,made in the thirteen colonies. This was supposedsly signed in Charlotte, North Carolina by a committe of citizens. The Declaration of Independence no longer has power in America and neither does the UN Independence. On the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence Both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died.

The first Continental Congress met in Philadelphia and elected John Hanson as first President. The Congress decided to train Militia and collect powder and also train Minute Men. The Continental Congress adopted a Declaration of Rights. The Continental Congress most important proclamation of principles and demonstrates the widening gap between the american colonist.

The 2nd Continental Congress adopted Articles of Confederation. Founded by the 2nd Continental Congress the United States Marine Corps celebrates its 230th birthday because its deliberation and appreciation. The 2nd Continental Congress assembled in May 1775 and it authorized the raising of a continental army. They decided to organize an army at the time because Congress needed to rely on voulunteers.

The English Bill of rights is an act of parliment passed in 1689 and was aseented by William and Mary on taking the throne. Some of its principles were found in the Magna Carta. April 11th 1689 the scots parliment passed into the Scots constitutional law on behalf of the people of Scotland. The Bill of Rights was passed by the Parliament in December 1689, but its still in effect today.

November 10th was when the Mayflower was created and it meant to settle disunity between the separatistsand the strangers who boarded the Mayflower. Pilgrims landed at Plymouth and signed the Mayflower compact, this was the first set of laws. The Mayflower Compact was the first constitutional document. The Mayflower carried a total of 102 passengers including forty Piligrims led by William Bradford.

Magna Carta is also called Magna Carta Libertatum(the great charter of Freedoms)and its also a English Legal , originally issued in the year 1215. Magna Carta might have been revolutionary in 1215,but nowadays amounts to little more than a commercial contract between the king and his lords. The Magna Carta was first written in 1215 and revised throughout the 13th century. On June 10, 1215 in Runnymede, KIng John Lackland of England signed the Magna Carta.

The Iroquois Confederacy or Iroquois Constitution is said to predate the arrival of Columbus in 1492. This was the first democracy in the New World forming circa1570 AD and their other six nations is upholding their constitutionand government. Several of their conferences was held in Albany, New York during the colonial period of time, but the most important was Albany Congress. The Iroquois was the Constitution of five nations was publishe 1916.
