Tim Best testifies and speaks publicly about the 2009 incident for the first time.
Best recalls the day's events and says he left the scene because he "panicked."
He also testifed that he was not impaired during the two collisions, but was drinking afterwards before being arrested.

Trial begins for Best. He pleads not guilty to five offences, including dangerous driving, impaired driving causing bodily harm and failing to remain at the scene of a crash. He pleads guilty to one charge of failing to remain at the scene.
