The war of 1812 lead the Battle of New Orleans .This battle was the last one of the War of 1812. It made Andrew Jackson a hero because he defended the New Orleans Battle. The Americans won this battle against British. There was13 Americans killed and 300 killed and about 52 wounded of Americans and 1,200 of British. The battle gave victory to the Americans.
WAR FINALLY ENDED??? Yes, the War of 1812 ended by the signing of the Treaty of Ghent on December 24, 1814 in Belgium. All the territories that were conquered were all returned
The war of 1812 brought many effects.The National of Americans pride increased because they fought for their land, the American manufacturing boosted, and the Native Americans lost many power.
This was an event when some federalist members of congress from New England agreed to oppose the war and sent delegates. Which brought the secession of U.S. discussion. But before that, the war already ended this caused Americans to distrust the Federalist and they lost a lot of power.
This fort protected soldier from the Battle of Baltimore. The battle lasted for 25 hours after a while the British left the battle. Francis Scott Key's was inspired by the war and wrote the star spangle banner our national anthem.
Horseshoe Bend? WHAT??? Well, the Horseshoe Bend was actually a battle that was took during Spring. It was the Battle where the troop of Jackson won the battle when they attacked a creek along the Tallapoosa River in Alabama. The Jackson Troop attacked a tribe called the Red Sticks.

In the Battle of Thames .General William Henry Harrison led an army of 3,500 American troops against a combined force of eight hundred British soldiers and five hundred Indian warriors at Moravian town, along the Thames River . The British troops were under the command of Colonel Henry Procter. Richard M. Johnson killed Tecumseh, he was a wanted Indian
It was a between the United States Navy and Britain's Royal Navy. U.S. 9 vessels captures 6 vessels from Britain which made Americans which made them the rulers of the lake for the rest of the war. The winning of this battle helped them get Detroit back and win the Battle of Thames.
It was the Battle between the USS Navy lead by Isaac Hull and the Royal Navy lad by James Richard Dacres. The Royal Navy had way less strength than the USS Navy. The USS Navy actually had only 7 killed and 7 wounded. In the other hand the Royal Navy had more soldiers missing. The had 15 killed, 18 wounded, 257 captured, and had 1 boat sunk. At the end the battle finally ended and the USS took victory.

The Americans advantages were that they fought close to home luckily, they're navy was efficient and well trained, a good leader, they has use of Guerilla Warfare, and they actually fought for something. Disadvantaged they had were that they were poorly equipped and supplied, were on debt, and outnumbered. British in the the other side had soldiers that were disciplined and equipped, money, and more war time experience, but they were far from home that it caused month to get their supplies.
June 1, 1812 was the day Madison sent a message to congress about the war against the Britain so that it could increase the amount of people that wanted to got war, which is why the war is called Madison because he brought it.
What caused the war of 1812? Well, the war of 1812 was caused because many Americans were getting impressed, British gave guns to the Native Americans which was not fair to the Americans, Americans ships were capture, and because of the act of the Embargo Act.
He was a Shaune chief that wanted the Native Americas to work together like the Americans did. He died in October 1813 during the Battle of Thames River and caused problems to the British alliance with Native Americans.
They were legislators, members of congress that called for war against Britain because of all their threats. They saw the war between the British and Americans and thought that was the only solution to their problems.
