The war of 1812 lead the Battle of New Orleans .This battle was the last one of the War of 1812. It made Andrew Jackson a hero because he defended the New Orleans Battle. The Americans won this battle against British. There was13 Americans killed and 300 killed and about 52 wounded of Americans and 1,200 of British. The battle gave victory to the Americans.

It was the Battle between the USS Navy lead by Isaac Hull and the Royal Navy lad by James Richard Dacres. The Royal Navy had way less strength than the USS Navy. The USS Navy actually had only 7 killed and 7 wounded. In the other hand the Royal Navy had more soldiers missing. The had 15 killed, 18 wounded, 257 captured, and had 1 boat sunk. The Americans advantages were that they fought close to home luckily, they're navy was efficient and well trained, a good leader, they has use of Guerilla Warfare, and they actually fought for something. Disadvantaged they had were that they were poorly equipped and supplied, were on debt, and outnumbered. British in the the other side had soldiers that were disciplined and equipped, money, and more war time experience, but they were far from home that it caused month to get their supplies.
