The USS Maddox was supposedly sunken by Vietnamese forces in the gulf of Tonkin. This event lead to the massive esceltaion of the war in Vietnam. However, some say that the ship was never fired upon and the government used it as an excuse to go to war

It had been after tiresome years of grueling work that the blacks had been accepted. People such as Martin Luther King and Malcomb X made this act possible and worked to show the white peoples that the blacks are not a lesser people

This day marked the fall of Japan and the end of the most horrific war in history, WWII. This war was responsable for the atrocious holacoust and the millions of others left dead by the war.
