A lively retelling of my Thanksgiving Vacation.

Meghan Spork's Thanksgiving Holiday has no followers yet. Be the first one to follow.
Got dressed and headed out to Michigan State Basketball game!
While making my way back to EL, I got pulled over for speeding on freeway. My first ticket ever.
After getting the Thanksgiving out of our systems, we set up the Christmas tree.
My mom wanted to get into the holiday season a little late, but wanted to make some apple pies. YUM!
Went out to the dollar movies with my friend to see "The Lottery Ticket." I'm glad I didn't spend $9 to see this movie.
I hung out with my friends Fiona Apple and Zach Galifianakis and made a fun video!
Attempted to do more homework, but generally was distracted. Finally settled down and watched a movie with my mom. We watched the Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
So I started thinking about it ... I have 22 cousins. 14 are boys, 5 are pregnant, and 3 have young kids born within the year. I am the sole female without kids, or pregnant!
Headed out to a local Starbucks to get cracking on some homework.
Since my family went out to eat, we don't have any leftovers waiting for us like most of America does. Thus, we decided to go out to dinner at Olive Garden. YUM!

Every year my family makes an effort to go see a movie on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The theaters are generally empty because everyone is out shopping.
Went to go see the other side of my family, and again another baby! This is my cousin's son Tyler.
At dinner I looked around at my family and realized that I was the only one under the age of 40 that had not had a child in the last year or is pregnant. Yes, scary. This is my cousin's new addition Max. He was born Nov 16.
Ever since my grandparents moved into their assisted living home, we have not had a venue big enough to fit my entire family. So we go out to dinner. Gino's Surf offered a large Thanksgiving style buffet, as well as other family favorites like chicken fingers (which I ate!).

In my family, we wake up at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving and watch the parade. Attached video is not mine.
I was not home for my birthday on the 12th of November, so my parents held my birthday presents hostage to make sure I would come home for Thanksgiving.
A map of my hour and a half drive from East Lansing to Royal Oak.

After a day of work, I went to one of my classes. The prof did not cancel it, but attendance was extra credit. And who doesn't love extra credit, but in all honesty I was so excited to go home that I paid no attention to him and spent all of my time playing bubbleshooter instead.
I have an internship at the Lansing City Pulse, and I was required to still work the Wednesday before the Holiday. But the issue in which I worked on the cover story just ran, so I was fielding all sort of praising phone calls!
