Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This was important to me due to it being another step in the Metal Gear series. This time it is for the Playstation console. I remember playing this game everyday for as much of the day as i could till i beat it. I have always like the Metal Gear games but this was when my love for them was at it's highest. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This is a Tactical Espionage Action game. This version of Metal Gear had some of the best graphics that could be seen at its time. This time it required much more skill to get through this game. Also the graphics were so life like almost like an animated movie that you could control. I am such a huge fan of the Metal Gear Series.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game was important to me because it started my love for zombie games. I remember playing this game and getting scared during certain points in the game when things jumped out it was like watching a horror film. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This is a Survival Horror game. This was one of many horror games I love to play. The graphics were pretty good for the system they are on. The puzzles are challenging enough the story is great. I personally love every aspect of the game and the series. I spent a lot of time playing while my little sister watched and jumped during those true horror moments.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This was important to me because it will always remember playing and playing this game for some time. I really like the Sonic character in the game. I was also very fond of the speed of the game and how you could be all over the level. It was a game i will always remember enjoying. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game taught me to be able to go from speeding through levels to slowing down and being patient to maneuver around certain levels of play. This was a great way for me to see video games evolve in graphics going from the 8-bit NES games to the 16-bit Genesis games. I defiantly loved the advancement.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game was very important to me because for the longest time it was one of my most favorite games to play. I spent many hours at a friends house playing this game. I always wanted to play this game. I very much enjoyed jumping in this tank and using bombs and shooting with the barrel of the tank. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This is an adventure type of game. It has you in search of your pet frog that was transformed by radioactive waste. You go through underground earth fighting creatures. Again great storyline on this game. I liked a lot of the ways you could move the tank and aim it at enemies also the weapon upgrades were a nice touch as well.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game was one of the first i loved to play for hours on end. I really just enjoyed it. It was also important because it help further my love for video games. It is why I am now taking this course I have a real love for games and this was one of my favorites. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game taught me the importance of being patient since I needed to get past guards. This game is a Stealth Action game. It was fun to try to sneak around to locate items and solve situations to move further towards your goal or each boss in that level. The overall storyline and game play is what made this game fun to play.
