Most of the deleted posts authored by David Pecovitz are undeleted.

Violet creates a post on her blog to make general corrections to posts and news articles about the deletions.
In this post she points out that several of deleted posts were authored by BoingBoing contributes other then Xine "7.7% of the deleted posts were authored and posted by David Pescovitz and Cory Doctorow."

The Canadian publication reports on the deletions making them the second MSM to report on the situation.

BoingBoing decides that after there blog post they need to talk to the press. They have a conference call with the LA Times to tell there side of the story. In that call Xine tells us she will never explain why she deleted the posts, "I did that for personal reasons, and for a back story that will always remain private".
Xine talks to the LA Times where she tells us she delete the posts. "I decided to unpublish these posts", and sums up here position:
"This is my work, this is my blog. This is not the same thing as Wikipedia or the paper of record. It’s BoingBoing. And I have the right to take these things down while I think about whether I want them out there or not."
She also give a second date for the deletions when she says "a year and a half ago when I unpublished this stuff".

After much discussion on the blogs and writing by the LA times, Teresa Nielsen Hayden of BoingBoing makes short public statement, "Speaking for all the Boingers", about deletions. Little information is given other then that "removed from public view a year ago" and that "We hope you'll respect our choice to keep the reasons behind this private"
